Port of Fleetwood

Ferries and Ferry Companies Operating
(Fleetwood, Lancashire, England, UK)

Two companies operate ferry services from the Port of Fleetwood. The main operator is Stena Line, which runs sailings twice a day to Larne, while the secondary operator is the Isle of Man Steampacket Company, which provides crossings to Douglas in the Isle of Man.

Stena Line

P&O Irish Sea Ferries operates two daily crossings to Larne in Northern Ireland.

Other routes operated by the company include Fishguard to Rosslare, Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire and Dublin Port, and Stranraer to Belfast.

Stena Line has three liners operating to Larne; these are the Stena Pioneer, Stena Leader and the Stena Seafarer. All three vessels offer en suite cabins, lounges with televisions, video games and a small selection of shops. Self-service dining areas are also on hand as well as bars serving soft and alcoholic drinks.

Isle of Man Steampacket Company

The Isle of Man Steampacket Company provides limited crossings to Douglas, with services more frequent in the summer season. The company's other routes include Douglas to Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool and Heysham.

The Isle of Man Steampacket Company has a modest selection of vessels in its fleet, among which are the Ben-My-Chree and the SuperSeaCat II. The Ben-My-Chree has a capacity for 630 people including crew and 275 vehicles. Meanwhile, the SuperSeaCat II has a capacity for 690 persons including crew as well as 147 vehicles.

Both of the ferries provide good passenger facilities such as lounges with TVs and bars serving snacks and beverages, while selected vessels have convenience shops.
